TRANSISTOR RADIO DESIGN

This small horizontal Toshiba 6P-10 was manufactured in Japan in June 1962. It is shirt pocket size and measures just 4.3” W x 2.5” H. It is one of the less common Toshiba horizontal sets. It is very well made and is yet another example of quality design and manufacture from Toshiba!
 

This Toshiba 6P-10 features a painted metal speaker grill with centered gold Toshiba badge and chrome trim. It has a two tone plastic cabinet consisting of the main body colored white and the back an unusual grayish green color.

The tuning dial is a progressive design and quite striking looking!
 

 

This Toshiba 6P-10 was also sold in Canada as a 'Marconi'.
 

This Toshiba comes with its original box, leather carrying case, leather earphone case and earphone!
